"Having stayed at the hotel years ago, (1997-1998)I was dismayed at the downslide the facility has taken. I'm not saying that my stay was uncomfortable or inconvenient in any way, only that the level of accommodation, services and attendant facilities has slipped somewhat since my earlier stays. The Heritage is still a nice destination hotel, but a little attention to cosmetics would help."

The Heritage offers spacious accommodations in a classic Connecticut setting. One hundred sixty three guest rooms, many with views of the Pomperaug River and golf course, are complimented by twenty four state of the art conference rooms and full resort facilities. Amenities include a fitness center, indoor/outdoor swimming pools, tennis, racquetball, ping pong, mountain bikes, golf, and a variety of spa services. Award winning dining awaits our guests at the Eight Mile Brook, A Steakhouse. Shadrach's Revolutionary Taproom offers billiard and card tables in a cozy setting. Six fireplaces in our public areas enhance the elegant atmosphere. Newly updated guestrooms feature king size beds, two double beds, suites, and a limited number of adjoining rooms. All guest rooms feature Lodgenet movie services and Nintendo, coffee makers, hairdryers, and full size irons and ironing boards. Use of resort facilities are included in room rates.
